The HR Coordinator will support the Deep End team and our clients with HR projects, client onboarding, recruiting support, executive support, and administrative tasks to further our vision of being our clients’ most valuable partner as they advance business and community.

This role is remote within Central Indiana.

What You’ll Do:

Human Resources & Client Support:

  • Collaborate with clients on HR projects, ensuring alignment with their goals and compliance with HR best practices.
  • Act as a client-facing Assistant HR Business Partner when needed, delivering professional, empathetic, and solutions-oriented support.
  • Maintain and manage employee files and HR data across multiple HRIS platforms, including Gusto, Rippling, ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, and more.
  • Assist with payroll processes, including setup, migration, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless and accurate payroll management.

Client Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Coordinate the recruitment process from start to finish, including job postings, conducting first-round interviews, managing candidate communications, and onboarding new hires for our clients.
  • Partner with our client hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide guidance on best practices for candidate engagement.

Training & Development:

  • Support the administration of employee training programs and Learning Management Systems (LMS), including managing user access, enrollments, and responding to customer service inquiries.
  • Develop presentations, graphics, and digital assets that support training initiatives and enhance both internal and client-facing communications.

Executive & Administrative Support:

  • Serve as Executive Assistant to the Principal Consultant, managing scheduling, meeting preparation, and administrative needs.
  • Assist in project management and client onboarding, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent follow-through.
  • Represent Deep End Talent Strategies at community and professional events, showcasing our brand and building relationships.

  • Experience & Education: At least 2 years of experience in an HR Coordinator or Generalist role. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Ability to adjust work hours as needed to accommodate clients across different time zones and be present at client meetings and events in Central Indiana with or without much notice.
  • Organizational Mastery: Strong organizational skills with a knack for project tracking and a “calendar wizard” approach to scheduling.
